Here at Direct365, we recently hit the 50 employee mark, and don’t plan on slowing down throughout the rest of 2014 and into the foreseeable future.

Employing the 50th team member represents a significant milestone for us, considering that less than 5 years ago we were operating from a small office in Tarleton with less than 10 staff, servicing all your business needs. Moving to Skelmersdale, in April of 2013, very much supported and aided our expansion plans, and offered better access to a great pool of talent in the North West area, which we have willingly snapped up and hope to continue to do so..

The recession has undoubtedly taken its toll on British businesses over the past few years, but we’re proud to have fought through it, growing year-on-year, and creating jobs in the local and surrounding areas. Providing essential products to other small businesses around the UK is all in a day’s work for us, and we’re happy to have our feet firmly planted in the SME market. We believe our success comes from a keen understanding of the SME market and our fantastic customers, whom we’re always learning off and understanding the needs of more and more every day.

In growing from a Micro business to employing more than 50 local people, we can honestly say that we have gained invaluable experience to support you, our customers, who are also small and medium sized businesses, spanning across a whole array of business types and markets.

“We take pride in our local roots and employees, and hope that we can continue to grow and support the local Skelmersdale community, whether that is achieved through continuing to create more jobs in the area, or organising more fundraisers and charity days for the community.” – Sam Walsh, General Manager

The importance of 50+ employees signifies a milestone for us in the Lancashire areas as a large majority of our staff actually live in the Skelmersdale area, or the surrounding Liverpool, Ormskirk and Wigan areas. With the strong transport links to the M6 and M58 and a train station situation a few minutes’ walk from our offices, commuting from as far as Preston and Warrington is much easier than it once was when we started our in Tarleton.
