In June  this year, two members of our marketing team will be taking on TrekFest, in aid of Direct365’s chosen charity – Together For Short Lives. Dani, 27, and Faye, 25, are hard at work training for their 54 mile hike over 24 hours without any sleep on the 7th & 8th of June in the Brecon Beacons. They’re aiming to raise over £1,000 for the charity, and are well on track! We wish them the best of luck!

Fun fact: Pen Y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons, is 2907 feet high!

What is Trekfest

TrekFest is a UK charity trek, but not for the light hearted. Everyone who takes part aims to complete either the 54 mile route 24 hours, or the 27 mile route in 12 hours, over one (or both) of the two locations: The Brecon Beacons & The Peak District. TrekFest attracts people from all walks of life, supporting all sorts of different charities.

You can find out more here: http://www.trekfest.org.uk/the-challenge.html

Fun fact: To walk the distance, Faye and Dani will have to keep up a minimum average walking pace of 2.25MPH over the full 24 hours
