Effectiveness

The Powerheat G3 Elite uses it's patented technology STAR® biphasic to provide an effective shock.  The escalating energy feature supplies an escalating dose of therapy to the patient, if subsequent shocks are required.

Ease of Use

The Powerheart G3 Elite is designed to be easy to use with simple and straightforward prompts and instructions.  Clear user paced voice and text instructions prompts recuers of any skill level to successful operation and delivery of shock.  Prompts only advance where the previous step has been completed and will catch up if the user is working quickly.  Provides a CPR metronome to assist untrained rescuers with CPR.

Using its RHYTHMx algorithm analysis, the Powerheart G3 Elite will analyse the patients heart rhythm and will determine if a shock is required and the level of energy required.  The Fully Automatic version will automatically deliver the shock if it is required.  The Semi-automatic will prompt the user to press the button to shock the patient.  Neither version will deliver a shock unless it is needed.

Confidence

The Powerheart G3 Elite Defibrillator carries out daily tests to ensure that battery and pads are both present and functional and the difibrillator is rescue ready 365 days a year using it's own proven rescue ready™ technology.   Performing a sophisticated series of patented self-tests the device will check itself daily, to ensure that it is rescue ready and illuminate the green light to indicate it's ready status at a glance.  If the tests detect a self-test error the indicator light will change to red and the device will omit alert tones to indicate that it requires attention.
