Where Defibtech Lifeline AEDs Might Not Be Suitable

Defibtech Lifeline AEDs are designed to be robust and can withstand a variety of environmental settings. However, there are certain conditions and environments where they may not function optimally.

  • Extreme Temperatures: Defibtech Lifeline AEDs have an operating temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F). They can withstand extreme cold temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F) for up to one hour. Therefore, they may not be suitable for use in environments with temperatures outside this range.

  • High Humidity: The devices can operate in relative humidity of 5%-95% (non-condensing). Environments with higher humidity levels or where condensation is likely may affect the device's performance.

  • Altitude: The devices can operate at altitudes from -500 to 15,000 feet. Defibtech AEDs may not function optimally at altitudes outside this range.

  • Flammable Gases or Anesthetics: The devices should not be used in the presence of flammable gases or anesthetics due to the risk of fire or explosion.
