PulsarSafeEar is an effective warning system for environments where noise can be an issue. Once installed, the PulsarSafeEar master unit is able to monitor noise levels using a hidden mircophone and then light up and warn users when the level of noise rises above a programmed level. In this way, the PulsarEarSafe can warn users when ear protection must be warn and when it is safe to remove it.
This unit is perfect for use in factories, pubs/nightclubs and workshops where hearing protection isn't necessarily required at all times but where protection is a must above a certain level of noise. It can also be used in quiet environments such as libraries, schools and hospitals to ensure noise is kept below a target level.
Installation of the PulsarSafeEar is very simple and is available as a remote display unit, meaning up to 3 units can be connected to the master unit and remotely controlled, so an area of up to 30m can be covered.
The system can be upgraded to become a data logging unit by adding the Data Logger and USB software. The Data Logger simply plugs into the unit to record noise levels over an extended period of time and can be programmed to start recording at a set time, for example, at the start of an 8 hour shift. When the SB is plugged into a computer, a printable graph is generated that show trends in noise levels.
