- First Aid for Appointed Persons
This half day course is designed for a work environment that is low hazard, has a small number of staff or has been risk assessed with the result that a first aider is not necessary.
It covers dealing with emergencies, accident reporting and helping with unresponsiveness and seizures. (Although the qualification certificate is valid for three years, it’s recommended that appointed persons refresh their skills every 12 months.)
The three day course covers a wide range of injuries and illnesses that could happen in the workplace, with a training pack of materials provided to help learners practice their skills.
Participants will walk away as a qualified first-aider thanks to comprehensive content specified by the Health and Safety Executive.
- First Aid at Work Re-qualification
Workplace first-aiders need to requalify every three years. This two day course helps to refresh previously learned skills and renews the certificate for another three years
This two day course is for those who care for babies and children in any professional setting (e.g. nannies, child-minders, nursery workers and au pairs).
The qualification is certified for professional use, meets Childcare Registration requirements, and is recommended for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
