Spill Prevention and Control Video

With a duty of care to employees, it’s the responsibility of an employer to investigate the source of spillages. Of 495 Health & Safety Authority workplace visits in 2015, it was found that 17% of employers had not investigated the source of spillages in their workplace, and as a result, no spill prevention or control methods had been put in place.
This course provides information to assist workers with the minimisation of spillages in the workplace including inspecting tanks, importance of planning ahead and how to take appropriate action when needed.
