Earlier this year, we entered in to the prestigious BIBAs (Be Inspired Business Awards) awards, which has become one of the biggest awards ceremonies for businesses and people alike in Lancashire.
We were thrilled to become finalists in the following categories:
- E-Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Most Inspiring Business of the Year
The ceremony took place within Blackpool Tower Circus and the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Friday the 12th of September and played out to a sell-out crowd of 1100 people, all rooting to win one or more of the possible 19 awards available on the night.
The night kicked off with Kevin Roberts, global chief executive of creative agency Saatchi and Saatchi presenting the awards ceremony which was the perfect venue for the evening. We all sat around a central podium, eagerly anticipating the announcements of our nominations and rooting for fellow businesses in their respected awards.
On the night, we didn’t win our category awards which we were finalists in, but the competition was extremely tough and the winning businesses deserved their trophies as they had demonstrated outstanding contributions to the local community, local industry and global trading achievements.
This was our first time entering into the BIBAs and we’ll certainly be back again next year to showcase all our hard work and growth that’s yet to come in the next 12 months.
After the awards had all been given to the winning businesses (many congratulations to all!) we headed into the ballroom for our evening meal. This was a stunning array of beautifully laid out tables with the food being prepped and served by Heathcotes.

The BIBAs was a great experience for us and we’re so proud to have been finalists in the awards. We’re looking forward to the next 12 months and are excited to be part of such a growing Lancashire business success story.
